The Florida International University (FIU) and the City of Sweetwater (Sweetwater) will be hosting a Public Meeting to discuss the proposed University City pedestrian-oriented transit access improvements along SW 109th Avenue from SW 8th Street to SW 6th Street in Sweetwater, FL, Miami-Dade County and across US 41/SW 8th Street into FIU’s Modesto A. Maidique Campus (Maidique Campus) to a proposed community transit stop located adjacent to the Engineering & Computer Science (ECS), Owa Ehan (OE), and Wertheim Conservatory (WC) buildings and an Advanced Intermodal and Multimodal Station (AIMS) located in and adjacent to the proposed Parking Garage 6 (PG6) located east of the Red Parking Garage (PGR).
