Work Program Item Segment Number: 435914-1 Project Description: US 19 (SR 55) from 66th Avenue N. to SR 690/118th Avenue N. in Pinellas County The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public input from the local community about the proposed improvements of the operations of this segment of US 19 (SR 55), including the interchange at US 19 and Gandy Boulevard, to accommodate projected future traffic volumes. This project will also enhance the accessibility, mobility, and safety of the facility for non-motorized users, such as pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit patrons. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Following the formal hearing presentation, participants may provide verbal comments to all present. Participants may also review project information and discuss the project with staff and offer their comments before and after the formal presentation. A court reporter will be present to record the presentation as well as individual comments.
