This Hearing is being held to allow interested persons the opportunity to provide comments concerning the planned alignment changes and the associated social, economic, and environmental effects. It is being conducted pursuant to Chapter 339, Florida Statutes, 23 CFR 771, 23 U.S.C. 128, Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, and Title VI and Title VIII of the United States Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1968. Individuals requiring special considerations under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 should contact Mary Sheets, Design Project Manager, (813)975-6166 at least ten (10) days prior to the Hearing. The Department will receive verbal and written comments at the Public Hearing. Written comments not received at the Hearing may be returned to the Department via mail, but must be postmarked by Monday, November 27, 2006, to become part of the official Public Hearing record.
