The FDOT is holding a meeting to discuss the SR 19 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for proposed widening of State Road (SR) 19 to four lanes from County Road (CR) 48 to CR 561, including the Howey Bridge over Little Lake Harris, a distance of 4.76 miles. This meeting is being held to share the initial information gathered for the study with area residents, business owners, other interested parties and stakeholders. It is to provide the opportunity for interested citizens to work with the project team to identify issues, areas of concern, desired design elements, and share ideas about the future of this corridor.
