This meeting is being held to afford interested persons an opportunity to ask questions and express their views concerning the widening of United States Highway (US) 17 from Southwest Collins Street to County Road (CR) 760A in DeSoto County, a distance of approximately five miles. Financial Project ID Number: 417876-1-32-01. The design proposes to widen US 17 from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway in order to improve safety and mobility. The meeting will be conducted in an “open house” format with exhibits and documents available for review. FDOT Staff and engineering design consultants will be in attendance.
