This meeting offers people the opportunity to express their views about the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of widening this segment of SR 29 to four lanes including the addition of a new bridge over the Caloosahatchee River, Financial Project ID 417878-1-22-01. Please note the limits of this PD&E study have been shortened to only include the section of SR 29 from CR 80A (Cowboy Way) to Whidden Road. The FDOT sent notices of the public workshop to property owners located within 300 feet either side of the proposed project alternatives within the study limits. FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
