The purpose of the proposed amendment to Rule 69A-37.039, F.A.C., is to adopt a new form for interested firefighters and volunteer firefighters to use when applying for the Lifetime Firefighter designation provided under Section 633.415, F.S. The Division will use this form to determine whether an applicant meets the eligibility requirements described in Section 633.415, F.S., for receipt of the Lifetime Firefighter designation. The Division is authorized to adopt rules pursuant to its authority under Section 633.104(1), F.S., to implement the provisions of Section 633.415, F.S.
