NOTE: One or more Governing Board members from the St. Johns River, South Florida and Southwest Florida water management districts may attend and participate in the meeting. The Central Florida Water Initiative (CFWI) is a collaborative effort for water resource planning, development and management among the Florida Department of Environmental Protection; the St. Johns River, South Florida and Southwest Florida water management districts; the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; and water supply utilities. The CFWI area includes Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and southern Lake counties. The regional water supply plan will ensure the protection of water resources and related natural systems and identify sustainable water supplies for all water uses in the CFWI area through 2035.
