This Kick-off Meeting will be conducted as an information gathering meeting. Interested persons are invited to attend and join the study mailing list to ensure continued participation throughout the study. This open house style meeting will include exhibits that explain the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study process, define the study area and describe the need for the proposed improvements of the PD&E Study to Widen Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) from south of US 441 (SR7) to Powerline Road (SR 845) (MP 18.0 – 22.0) in Broward County. (Financial Project Identification Number: 437153-1-22-01). Your participation and input on the anticipated social, economic and environmental effects are appreciated. The project will be evaluated in accordance with Federal Executive Orders 11990 (Protection of Wetlands) and 11988 (Floodplain Management).
