The Upper Ocklawaha River Basin Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Working Group was formed to provide a forum for stakeholders to discuss issues related to the Upper Ocklawaha River Basin TMDLs, including development, allocation, and implementation of the TMDLs through a Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP). The Upper Ocklawaha River BMAP was adopted in 2007. This is a meeting to present updated nutrient budgets for the Upper Ocklawaha lakes. TMDLs for Upper Ocklawaha Basin lakes and Lake Apopka were adopted in 2007 and require reduction in the loadings of total phosphorus.
