This is a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Florida Beaches Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP). Topics to be discussed include staff updates on progress during the last quarter and review of a preliminary draft of a “Beaches HCP Informational Brochure.” The committee will revisit their votes from a past meeting on 3 items: Term limit for the Incidental Take Permit; Inclusion of critically eroded beaches in the plan area; and Protection of non-federally listed, at-risk species through the HCP.
