The FDOT, District Four, will be hosting an Alternatives Public Workshop for the SR-9/I-95 at SR 842/Broward Boulevard Interchange Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. The Alternatives Public Workshop will begin as an informal open house where all viable alternatives that have been developed will be on display, with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. The goal of the workshop is to collect and evaluate the public’s comments on the alternatives under evaluation, prior to selecting a recommended alternative.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
