The department is holding a third workshop on rulemaking to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the electric utility sector. The rule would establish a cap-and-trade program pursuant to the Florida Climate Protection Act (403.44, F.S.). The purpose of this workshop is to offer conceptual rule proposals and to provide an opportunity for interested persons to provide comments and recommendations to the department as we continue this rulemaking process. There is no draft rule language available at this time.
