To present and give the public opportunity to provide comments on the draft nutrient total maximum daily load (TMDL) for the tidal Caloosahatchee River and tributaries. The final TMDL will be adopted in rule at 62-304.800, F.A.C. The draft TMDL document will be placed on the Department’s TMDL website (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/tmdl) by December 18, 2008 and the Department will accept written comments on the draft TMDLs through January 17, 2009. It is anticipated that a second public workshop will be held in early 2009 to present any revisions to the draft TMDL based on comments submitted by the public or additional technical information that may change the draft TMDL.
