The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) has scheduled a Public Alternatives Meeting for the Boca Raton II Tri-Rail Station Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The alternatives that will be presented include locations and design features for a second Tri-Rail station in Boca Raton near Glades Road and Military Trail. An alternative in which no new Tri-Rail Station is constructed will also be presented. During the meeting, maps, drawings and other project information will be available for review and the public will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments to the project team. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being carried-out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
