Foremost Insurance Company has requested a 38.5% average statewide increase with regard to mobile home policies, and Foremost Property and Casualty Insurance Company has requested a 46.9% average statewide increase with regard to mobile home policies. The requested rate increases are not uniform and some areas are subject to a higher rate increase than other areas. Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary.
