This project will evaluate a proposed new two-lane facility in Gadsden County that will begin at State Road (S.R.) 267 (Pat Thomas Parkway) and end at S.R. 10/U.S. 90. The purpose of this project is to evaluate additional capacity options outside of downtown Quincy to re-route truck traffic from the downtown square, enhance mobility for economic growth, and increase evacuation route options in coordination with the North Quincy Loop. The alignment and tie-in point at S.R. 267 (Pat Thomas Parkway) has not been determined, and the tie-in point at S.R. 10/U.S. 90 is at the intersection with Ralph Strong Road and S.R. 269. This proposed facility is referred to as the South Quincy Loop and if constructed is planned to be approximately 3 miles long.
