This meeting is being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of Financial Project ID: 210711-2, 210712-3 and 210712-4 otherwise known as the State Road A1A/State Road 200 Reconstruction Project. You are invited to attend a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to SR-A1A/SR-200 from I-95 to CR-107/O’Neil-Scott Road in Yulee, (Nassau County), a distance of approximately 8.5 miles. This meeting will be an “Open House” format to allow visitors to drop by anytime from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to talk with Department staff, ask questions and submit written comments. At 6:30 p.m., the Department will open the meeting for a brief presentation and public comments. I-95 to West of Still Quarters Road FM #210711-2 – This project consists of widening the roadway from 4 lanes to 6 lanes with raised medians, curb & gutter, sidewalks and bicycle lanes (2 miles). This project will also include the addition of a new Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI). The project is currently scheduled to begin construction in February 2017. West of Still Quarters Road to West of Rubin Davis Lane FM #210712-3 – This project consists of widening the roadway from 4 lanes to 6 lanes with raised medians, curb & gutter, sidewalks and bicycle lanes (1.5 miles). This project began construction in September 2014. West of Rubin Davis Lane to East of CR-107/O’Neil-Scott Rd FM #210712-4 – This project consists of widening the roadway from 4 lanes to 6 lanes with raised medians, curb & gutter, sidewalks, bicycle lanes and replacement of the Lofton Creek Bridge (5 miles). This project is currently scheduled to begin construction in March 2016.
