The most significant amendment is that the District is proposing a maximum number of two days per week for landscape irrigation throughout the region of the South Florida Water Management District instead of the current three days per week that is currently in place in the Lee, Collier and portions of Charlotte County areas. The District is also proposing to amend the year-round landscape irrigation conservation measures for new landscaping, providing an enforcement option for local governments, and providing a process for variances and waivers.
