Financial Project ID No.: 439891-1-22-02 Project Description: Project Development and Environment Study, State Road (SR) 869/SW 10th Street from Florida’s Turnpike/Sawgrass Expressway to SR9/I-95 in Broward County The purpose of the PD&E Study is to increase capacity and address existing operational and safety deficiencies along SR 869/SW 10th Street between Florida’s Turnpike/ Sawgrass Expressway and SR 9/I-95, while also providing improved connectivity of the regional transportation network. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the study, become familiar with the study process, and provide initial feedback. The Elected and Appointed Officials/Agencies Kick-off Meeting will start at 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a presentation at 3:30 p.m. The public meeting will take place after the Elected and Appointed Officials/Agencies meeting and will start at 5:30 p.m. A presentation will be given at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the study, ask questions, and provide comments on the potential improvements. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The meetings are intended to introduce the project to officials, agencies, and the public; and to provide an opportunity to discuss social, environmental, and economic effects of the potential improvements. The information presented will be the same at both meetings. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
