The purpose of the proposed rule development is to include the following provisions in the program rule: update and correctly identify the eligible waterways of the District; Update and correctly identify the required forms for the grant application process; and further define the funding eligibility for the small-scale derelict vessel removal. The effect of the rule development is to implement changes in the administration of the District’s Waterways Assistance Program that will assist the District and program applicants in the review and evaluation of applications submitted pursuant to the rule.
