The Department’s Division of Environmental Assessment and Restoration (DEAR) is holding a public meeting to discuss DEAR’s water quality assessment efforts. This public meeting is being held to discuss the 2017 update to the Florida Keys Reasonable Assurance Document (FKRAD), proposed monitoring strategy in support of the FKRAD, and status of the 2017 Group 5 Florida Keys Basin assessment. The FKRAD was developed to establish water quality targets and restoration activities to address nutrient impairments in the near shore waters.
