This rule development will cover the amendment of rules to clarify the definition of public water supply well and to amend the conditions for issuance of a permit. The proposed rules would clarify that wells, which supply water to public water systems not covered or included in the Florida Safe Drinking Water Act and are permitted under Rule 64E-8.002, F.A.C., are included in the definition of Public Water Supply Well. The proposed rules would also require, as a condition for issuance of a permit, overdue and complete well completion reports be submitted to the District or delegated permitting authority. Note: Members of the District’s Governing Board may attend the scheduled Rule Development Workshop.
