(a) Consider a resolution authorizing the issuance of not exceeding $99,000,000 in principal amount of revenue bonds of the Authority in order to make a loan to Nova Southeastern University for the purpose of: 1. Refunding all or a portion of the outstanding Broward County Educational Facilities Authority Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds, Series 2000A (Nova Southeastern University Project), Broward County Educational Facilities Authority Educational Facilities Authority Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds, Series 2000B (Nova Southeastern University Project), Broward County Educational Facilities Authority Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds, Series 2002A (Nova Southeastern University Project) and Broward County Educational Facilities Authority Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds, Series 2004C (Nova Southeastern University Project), the proceeds of which were used to finance various capital projects and equipment (the “Refinanced Projects”), 2. Financing and refinancing the acquisition, construction and equipping of an approximately 75,000-square foot student education center, 3. Funding necessary reserves, including a debt service reserve fund, and 4. Paying the costs of issuance of such bonds. 5. Any other matters that may come before the Authority.
