Please note, the "Notice of Meeting" that was posted on 12/18/19 titled "Broward Area Refugee Task Force" and posted in Volume 45/244 of the Florida Administrative Code (12/18/2019 Vol. 45/244) was incorrectly dated. The date should have been listed as "Thursday, January 16, 2020; 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon". This posting serves to correct that error. The purpose of the Broward Area Refugee Task Force meeting is to increase awareness of the refugee populations, share best practices, spot trends in refugee populations, build collaborations between agencies, help create good communication among service providers, get informed about upcoming community events, and discuss refugee program service needs and possible solutions to meeting those needs.
