The public hearings are being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic, and environmental effects of Financial Identification Number 412994-2-22-01, otherwise known as, the Central Florida Commuter Rail Transit North/South Corridor Project. The limits of the study extend along the existing CSX Transportation A-Line, from DeLand in Volusia County to Poinciana in Osceola County. The proposed project would traverse through Volusia, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola Counties for a total length of approximately 61 miles.
