This rule is being developed to establish administrative requirements for the purchase of psychiatric medications for eligible clients not residing in a state mental health treatment facility or an inpatient unit. This rule establishes financial and clinical eligibility criteria for clients receiving services under the indigent drug program; establish requirements that community-based providers must meet to participate in the program; and establish the sanctions to be applied for failure to meet the requirements of this rule.
