The purpose of this workshop is to review proposed rules pertaining to captive wildlife. Specifically the proposed rules address definitions; possession and housing of captive wildlife, venomous reptiles and reptiles of concern; permitting requirements; facility and land area requirements for Class I or Class II wildlife; standard caging requirements; record keeping and reporting requirements for the possession of venomous reptiles and reptiles of concern; and identification of non-native venomous reptiles and reptiles of concern.
