The purpose of this proposed rule amendment is to adopt the Twelfth Edition of the FTCE Competencies and Skills for the Florida Teacher Certification Examinations, to implement changes to the subject area competencies and skills. The rule also will specify the effective dates for implementation of the competencies and skills. The effects of these changes are that the updated competencies and skills for the subject area examinations will be available to examination candidates and the examinations will be updated to include these competencies and skills. In addition, the amendment will address the addition of online registration applications.
