The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) has scheduled an Alternatives Public Workshop to discuss the different alternatives being evaluated for the proposed State Road 924/Gratigny Parkway West Extension to the Homestead Extension of the Florida’s Turnpike (HEFT) as part of the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. This study will evaluate alternatives that would relieve congestion and improve safety within the study area, improve system linkages and enhance future transit in South Florida. The public workshop will give property owners, residents and interested parties an opportunity to discuss and comment on the various alternatives being proposed and evaluated during this phase of the study. Participation and input from the public is encouraged and appreciated.
