To hold a second public hearing on the proposed rules about uniform procedures and supporting forms for hearings before value adjustment boards and their special magistrates. These proposed rules include new Chapter 12D-9, F.A.C. (Requirements for Value Adjustment Boards in Administrative Reviews; Uniform Rules of Procedure for Hearings) and revised Rule 12D-16.002 (Index to Forms), Florida Administrative Code. A further draft of proposed rule Chapter 12D-9 is anticipated to be posted on our website the week of November 30 – December 4, 2009. The draft will be posted at http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/property/vabwb/vabrules.html. The Department held a public hearing on October 9, 2009, at which the public offered comments and concerns.
