The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a public meeting to discuss potential solutions to the traffic congestion experienced where US 1, San Carlos Avenue, San Marco Avenue (SR A1A) and May Street all intersect in St. Augustine, FL. The meeting will be held Monday, December 15, 2014, at the St. Johns County Public Library-Main Branch, 1960 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, St. Augustine, FL 32084. This meeting is being held to gather input from the public regarding proposed improvements being considered as FDOT completes a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study of these intersections. Possible solutions being shown at the meeting include the addition of a left turn lane at US 1 and a roundabout at May Street. For your convenience, the meeting will be an open house format. Drop by anytime between 4:30-6:30 p.m. to review the exhibits and talk to Department staff. Then at 6:30 pm, you will be given an opportunity to make public comments. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
