The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a Tampa Bay Next Downtown Tampa and Urban Core Areas Community Open House on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Armature Works – Theater Room, 1910 N. Ola Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602. At this Open House transportation officials will provide updates and information from the following organizations including the Florida Department of Transportation, the Heights Mobility Study, the Regional Transit Feasibility Plan, City of Tampa Streetcar Study, Hillsborough County Metropolitan Planning Organization Long Range Transportation Plan, improvements proposed for the Downtown Tampa Interchange and I-275 North and other transportation related topics. The format will encourage open dialogue to provide information, address questions and ideas. Attendees are invited to stop by at anytime between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. There is no formal presentation. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
