The Commission is initiating rulemaking to adopt Rule 27N-2.100, Florida Administrative Code, implementing the Florida Green Government Grants Act. Funds will be distributed to local governments including municipalities, counties and school districts to aid in the development and implementation of programs that provide cost-efficient energy-related solutions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve quality of life, and strengthen the state’s economy. The proposed rule is a result of the enactment of HB 7135 during the 2008 Regular Session (Chapter No. 2008-227, Laws of Florida).
