As part of the Regional Mobility Plan, the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) is developing a Trails and Greenways Master Plan. This plan focuses on improvements needed to provide a comprehensive, connected and accessible trail and greenway system throughout Gadsden, Wakulla, Jefferson and Leon counties. Emphasis will be placed on developing interconnected hard-surface trails to popular destinations such as schools, parks, shopping and employment centers. Citizen input has been vital in development of the DRAFT Trails and Greenways Master Plan. This meeting will be held in an informal open house format and will provide opportunity for citizen input. CRTPA staff will attend the open house event and will also be available to discuss trail/greenway concepts with citizens.
