The purpose of these rule amendments is to clarify that the harvest of mullet by snagging or snatch hooking is allowed and to implement the standardized rule formatting consistent with the Marine Fisheries Rule Cleanup process to clarify, streamline, and reorganize the regulations found in 68B-39, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). The effect of these rule amendments is to provide clarification and standardized language for the Commission’s current mullet regulations and improve consistency across marine fisheries rules.
