The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public hearing for the design of the access management improvements for State Road (SR) 40 in Marion County, Florida (FPID: 432421-1-52-01). Project information related to the access management improvements will be presented for the section of SR 40 from NE 25th Avenue to west of NE 10th Street, which is approximately 1.2 miles. No additional right-of-way will be needed for this project. Construction is funded for this project in Fiscal Year 2016. Attendees may review project information and discuss project details with the project team. Throughout the hearing, FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive comments. Participants also may provide public comment directly to the court reporter at any time during the public hearing. This hearing provides interested persons an opportunity to review project information and to express their views about the proposed changes.
