The Commission will present a proposed rule that includes regulations regarding the use, placement, possession, and transport of bird traps. The proposed rule is designed to help law enforcement address illegal trapping of birds. The proposed language includes exceptions for individuals authorized to use traps for lawful purposes. The meeting will provide the public an opportunity to provide feedback and offer suggestions on the proposed rule. Comments can also be sent after the meeting to Imperiled@myfwc.com.
