FDOT is evaluating improvements to the intersection at US 41 and Gulfstream Avenue that would accommodate all modes of travel and provide for a better integrated transportation system as identified in the City of Sarasota’s Downtown Master Plan. The Department sent notices of the public meeting to all property owners located within at least 300 feet of the intersection, including residents along Sunset Drive and Golden Gate Point. FDOT encourages all interested people to attend and express their views regarding the project and information presented. FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
