Financial Management No.: 437241-1-12-01 Project Description: State Road (S.R.) 519 (Fiske Boulevard) from Barnes Boulevard to S.R. 520 – Concept Development and Evaluation Study This first PVT meeting will be a kick-off meeting for the project where the project team will provide a brief overview of the previous phase of the project, an update on existing and future conditions, and introduce the alternatives being evaluated. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), worked on a Corridor Planning study along S.R. 519 (Fiske Boulevard) from County Road (C.R.) 502 (Barnes Boulevard)/I-95 Northbound Ramps to S.R. 520 (King Street) in Brevard County. Now we are starting to work on the next phase of the project (Concept Development and Evaluation) along the same segment. This project’s objective is to develop short and long-term improvements for the corridor that appropriately accommodate all modes of transportation. The PVT is an advisory group (not an independent decision-making board) that will assist FDOT and the consultant team by providing jurisdictional, policy, technical, and administrative guidance throughout the project. Your participation in this study is truly valued and appreciated. Please don’t hesitate to contact the study team if you have any questions or comments.
