The next meeting of the Orange Creek Basin Working Group will be held on April 4, 2017 at 9:30 am, at the Gainesville Regional Utilities Eastside Operations Campus. This meeting is open to the public. The meeting will present an update of water quality improvement activities in the basin and review of the Supplemental Report’s allocation of responsibilities for nutrient loading reductions. The second phase Orange Creek Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP) was adopted in July 2014. The BMAP addresses bacterial problems in streams and nutrient water quality problems in lakes in the Orange Creek Basin.
