This workshop is being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning Financial Project ID Number 430919-1, otherwise known as SR 13 (Hendricks Ave.) from Arbor Lane to LaSalle Street in Duval County, Florida. This project includes the construction of approximately 1 mile of concrete sidewalk, pedestrian signalization upgrades and incidental construction in the San Marco community to provide safe pedestrian routes to Landon Middle School. These improvements will be made along LaSalle Street, Thacker Avenue, Landon Avenue, Mitchell Avenue, Arcadia Place, Dewey Place and Perry Place. Pedestrian signal upgrades will be located at the intersections of Hendricks Avenue with LaSalle Street, Landon Avenue, Atlantic Boulevard and San Marco Boulevard. Some landscaping/tree removal and driveway reconstruction will be needed to accommodate the new sidewalks.
