The purpose of this Hearing is to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptional design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. To review the project documents prior to the Public Hearing, they will be available to the public beginning on Monday, February 25, 2019, at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, located at 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 (Monday and Wednesday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), and at the Florida Department of Transportation, District Four, 3400 W. Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The documents will remain on display and at http://browardat95.95express.com/ through Thursday, March 28, 2019. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Anson Sonnett, P.E., FDOT Project Manager, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before March 28, 2019, will become part of the Public Hearing record.
