Developed through the cooperation of Orange County, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Long Branch BMAP was developed to address elevated fecal coliform bacteria and low dissolved oxygen levels in the Long Branch watershed. The BMAP lays out the steps completed and planned to address fecal coliform and dissolved oxygen Total Maximum Daily Loads adopted by the Department of Environmental Protection for Long Branch. Topics for this meeting include a review of water quality conditions in Long Branch, review of the completed BMAP management actions, and discussion of planned future activities.
