Cypress Property and Casualty Insurance Company has requested increases with the cumulative effect of a 23.9% average statewide rate increase. The requested rate increases were not uniform and some areas are subject to a higher rate increase. Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary.
