The purpose and effect of the proposed rules is to specify that an inmate in administrative confinement may possess religious items pursuant to Rule 33-602.201, F.A.C., to clarify visiting procedures for inmates in administrative confinement, to clarify the visiting procedure for inmates in protective management, to specify that an inmate in disciplinary confinement may possess religious items pursuant to Rule 33-602.201, F.A.C., and to strike language that prohibits inmates in confinement settings from being provided typing services.
