The purpose of the rule amendment would clarify definitions of licensure and certification, requirements for the mosquito control director’s examination, clarify requirements for demonstrating an increase in arthropod population levels and reduce the number of employees a certified applicator can supervise. It will also clarify requirements for training records, for passing the public health pest control examination and for continuing education units for public health pest control certification, and clarify language regarding arthropod control plans.
