This is the fourth meeting of the Bacteria Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and is a follow-up to TAC meetings held on August 20, 2013 (Tallahassee), November 19, 2013 (Orlando), and February 19, 2014 (Jacksonville). The TAC meeting is associated with (1) the development of rules intended to comprehensively revise fecal indicator bacteria surface water quality criteria in Chapter 62-302, F.A.C., and the associated impaired water methodologies in Chapter 62-303, F.A.C., (2) the development of a statewide bacteria Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) in Chapter 62-304, F.A.C., and (3) the development of generally applicable actions by regulated entities to implement the TMDL. This meeting will focus on a revised document describing the proposed actions for implementing the TMDL.
