Purpose


The proposed amendments to the rule’s incorporated form, DH-MQA 1269, will help ensure compliance with the intent of the rule. The Department currently receives updates using the form from both supervisors and assistants, while the rule requires that updates should only be provided by supervisors. In addition, assistants incorrectly use the form to notify the Department of temporary supervisory assignments due to absences, whether planned or unplanned by the supervisor, which is not the intent of the rule. The form is being updated to further clarify these requirements and procedures for supervisors and assistants.
