Senior Connection Center (SCC) is holding public hearings to invite members of the community, our partners and stakeholders to join us and comment on the service needs of older adults and how local services will be funded by SCC in 2017. After the public hearing portion of the meeting, participants are welcome to continue the conversation on how we can better achieve our planning goals to ultimately make a positive impact on those we serve.For 2017, SCC proposes to continue with the direct provision of Intake and Evidence-Based Health and Wellness services, funded through the Older Americans Act for Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee and Polk Counties. These events are free and open to the public but space is limited and reservations are recommended.
